Cost: First child - $250 + tax
Each additional sibling - $150
$75 deposit/per session-due upon booking
What is a personality portrait?
They are mini sessions that capture your child in classic black and white photographs showcasing their unique personality. They are not overly posed and let your children be exactly who they are! Sessions are shot at my home studio in The Colony. with studio lighting and a simple white backdrop. All you need to do is bring your kiddos and get ready for them to have some fun!
Is there an age requirement?
No, there is no age minimum or maximum! For younger ones, I do ask that your child be able to sit on their own and have good head control.
What should my child wear?
They can wear any color, as long as it does not contain any logos or patterns. These images are to capture your child's personality and to do so, it's best to keep things simple. Keep in mind that if your child has dark hair, a light colored top photographs well or light hair with a dark top.
What should I expect during the session?
Please have your little one dressed and ready to go when you arrive. Please bring along, snacks, water and any favorite toys. Avoid any foods and/or drinks that will stain their clothing or face and remove any boogies from their nose. During the session, I may ask you to engage with your child and make faces or do silly things behind me to make them laugh or get a reaction out of them. Sometimes having a parent interacting with them can make them smile the most, but don't fret if they aren't all giggles.
When can I expect my images?
For these portraits, I will select the best ones of the bunch and have them edited and back to you within 2 days. I don't offer them in color which helps speed up the editing process. I also don't offer the RAW photos.
What does the session include?
The session fee includes 15 minutes of shooting with one child. If you have two or more children you'd like photographed, I offer each child for $150 after the first but each child requires their own session! I can reserve a couple minutes at the end of the shoot for sibling photos together but, I don't make any promises.
